A worry free trip: we take care of everything
It’s not just class, it’s immersion!
“I loved the mix of classroom and outside activities in the course. It’s not just spending 3 hours a day sitting in a classroom, it’s doing practical things and going around the town.
One of my favourite activities was the “City Treasure Hunt”. We had to find different destinations asking the locals questions. One of the stops was a flower stall, where we met Maria Rosa. She was so friendly, the conversation just happened naturally & told us lots about her life. It was lots of fun and gave me more confidence speaking Spanish in real life.”

So much more than a holiday
“I´ve been to Málaga before but this time we went to places we would never find as tourists because Lolo and Inma had discovered the good hidden places. They organise many activities so we can experience more than when on a normal holiday.
In the evening we meet for dinner and we speak in Spanish. The teachers take care of everything, making sure everyone is happy. I loved sharing tapas and trying roast kid or artichokes that I wouldn’t normally eat. It’s a bonus to have so much extra time with them because we learned extra things.”

“Plenty of opportunities to practise Spanish every day”
Everyday we learn something new in class, like how to buy food, clothes, go shopping or ask for directions. Then later we go downtown and practise what we have learned.
For example, we went to the local market. There we had a series of tasks to complete, like buying typical products such as “botijo” so we had to speak to the vendors at the stalls. It was lots of fun and gave us more confidence.
Málaga City
A vibrant cultural place of easy-going people
Málaga has everything: beaches, museums, shops and is full of history
l would love to return with my family
“There is so much to do and see in Málaga! There is a beach really closeby. And you also have a vibrant city, with so many restaurants & shops plus a huge cultural offering of museums and magnificent architecture.
The city centre is so compact that you can get to everything very easily. But still has a really nice Spanish feel about it. I like the weather, the food, the wine, the people, the atmosphere…. It’s just beautiful!”
Amanda
An authentic experience
“The activity I liked the most during the course was the Language Exchange. The teachers had arranged that we meet with a group of locals to chat… That was brilliant!
Every few minutes we would change and talk to a different person. I was quite nervous at the start but I found that they were so friendly and “agradable”. It was fantastic and fun and without even realising we were learning loads of Spanish as well.”

FAQ
When can I book my flight?
Málaga has an international airport with many direct flights daily to worldwide destinations. It is very easy to get to the city centre by train with Cercanias Renfe or by taxi. The journey should take about 20 mins. You must contact us before booking your flights to confirm availability in the course and to provide flight details.
Can you recommend where to stay?
Accommodation is not included in the price for this Málaga course, as there are many great choices for all budgets and tastes. Bear in mind when choosing the location for your accommodation that our meeting point is Plaza de la Constitución and our classes are in the city centre near Teatro Cervantes, so ideally you should stay within 15 mins walk from these. We can also recommend some hotels if you like, just let us know.
Can I come early or stay longer?
Of course, you can arrive before the course and stay longer after the course. This course is one week long but some students make the trip a longer holiday to visit Spain.
Where do the classes take place?
The lessons will take place in Malaga city centre just beside the Teatro Cervantes and Plaza de la Merced. We will be sharing the premises with LinguaSpain. You’ll have classes from 10.00h to 13.30h Monday to Friday with a mid-morning break. You’ll love having your ‘café con leche’ with the locals!
Do I get my money back if I cancel my trip?
If you need to cancel your trip within 30 days before the trip, we will refund your money in full minus the course deposit (€150). If you cancel less than 10 days before, we will refund you 50% of your payment.
Do I need to have my own private health insurance?
If you are an EU citizen, you should get a free European Health Card (blue card), which will allow you to visit a public doctor for free. You can also go to a Private Clinic and pay their fees (we can help you with this if needed). You can also arrange Private Health Insurance.
How can I get the early bird discount?
If you see it available on our website, it is available, as simple as that.
Should I book travel insurance?
We always recommend that students arrange travel insurance, for peace of mind.
Do you offer other Spanish holiday locations?
We do! We also have Spanish learning holidays in Cáceres! A beautiful Spanish city in the heart of Extremadura. See the Language Holiday in Cáceres page for more information.
Can I combine this with online Spanish classes?
Of course! We actually recommend it! If you haven’t tried our online Spanish courses, contact us today to find out more!
Is this course for me?
“I have been studying Spanish on my own but I’ve never been to a class. I was a bit nervous and wasn’t sure if my Spanish was good enough to come on this trip. But after talking to Lolo, I knew that I wanted to come on this trip.
During the course, everybody was encouraged to participate and yet there was no pressure to be good at Spanish. Plus we always had two teachers in the class and during the activities to help us. We all felt included and I enjoyed every bit.”
