HOME PRACTICE
These are some activities to practice and do some revision at home:
- EJERCICIOS DEL LIBRO: if you have some time and want to practice what you´ve learned in class, I recommend doing the following exercises from your course book, which we can correct in the next class:
- PAGES 98-99 – matcht the tapas with their names
- ORDER THE 3 CONVERSATIONS: in this online activity https://view.genially.com/672cfb460505784dcc70b4de there are three conversations at the bar. You can:
- Order the phrases of the conversation
- Identify who´s talking: the CAMARERO (waiter) or the CLIENTE (customer)
- You can check the solution clicking on the button
- STUDENT NOTES – âEN EL BARâ â these are the online interactive presentation plus the PDF printable version we used in the class to learn the expressions to order drinks and tapas:
- VIDEO – LOS PINCHOS EN SEBASTIAN: here you can watch again the video about pinchos en San Sebastian. Please take note of what you understand in the video and if there are any expressions you´d like to know the meaning. You can write your comments in your PADLET:
- Take note of the expressions you understand
- Write down a list of ingredients and types of pinchos you see, for example:
- Ingredientes: queso, jamĂłn, âŚ
- Pinchos: revuelto de hongo, calamares a la romana, âŚ

- PRACTICA EN CASA: you can write in your PADLET a conversation where 2 clients order drinks and tapas at a bar, including greeting, asking personal information, ordering drinks & tapas, asking for the bills and paying. Use this menu to order the food.
- EXTRA VIDEO – COMO PEDIR EN UN BAR: here is another video with different conversations where some customers order drinks and nibbles at a bar. Take note of the expressions you understand and the new vocabulary.

PREPARE FOR NEXT CLASS
Next class we will learn more expressions in the restaurant and practice short conversations. We will also watch the video “LA CENA” to learn more about Spanish dishes and useful vocabulary to make request and order food and drink in Spanish!
